J.J. Watt Full Participant In Texans Minicamp

HOUSTON (CBS Houston): After being a surprise non-participant in the final day of OTAs Friday due to a sore knee, J.J. Watt showed no ill effects during the Texans first day on Minicamp on Tuesday.

“He looked like he was moving around pretty good today,” head coach Bill O’Brien said.

When asked if there were any limitations on Watt today, or if he appeared to be feeling any residual soreness, O’Brien replied, “Not that I could see.”

During practice, Watt was his usual energetic self, even diving to the ground to get an interception on a tipped pass.

As for Watt himself, he was in a jovial mood after practice, joking with media members.

“I feel great,” Watt said.  “Friday was just a precaution.  I wanted to practice, but I feel really good now, so no worries.”

Texans fans can breathe a little easier today.
